Healthy Bowdoin Geneva Collective 

Bowdoin Geneva is a diverse neighborhood with a wide variety of needs and resources. To ensure that Healthy Bowdoin Geneva best represents that diversity, it is guided by a collective composed of organizations representing a broad range of stakeholders.

Family Nurturing Center

Offers programs and services that promote healthy relationships and positive parenting. They provide support, resources, and education for families to foster nurturing environments for children.


Bowdoin Street Health Center

Community health center that offers comprehensive medical, dental, and behavioral health services. They focus on providing accessible and high-quality care to individuals and families across Boston. Website:

St. Peter's Teen Center

The Catholic Charities Teen Center serves 300 adolescents living in Dorchester’s Bowdoin-Geneva neighborhood after school hours and throughout the summer months. The staff, programs, and activities aim to increase teens’ self-esteem while providing the tools needed for academic and personal growth as well as their success in the community

Bowdoin Geneva Main Streets

Dedicated to the revitalization and promotion of the Bowdoin-Geneva commercial district. They work collaboratively with local business, residents, and organizations to create a vibrant and thriving neighborhood.


UP Education Network

A community of educators dedicated to transforming underperforming district schools into extraordinary schools. They provide quality education experiences for students in the Boston area, with a focus on achieving long-term academic success.

Dorchester CARES Coalition

Collaborative effort among community organizations, residents, and stakeholders to address various social issues and improve the overall well-being of the community. They work towards creating a safer, healthier, and more inclusive neighborhood.

Friends of Geneva Cliffs

Community group focused on preserving and enhancing the natural beauty of the Geneva Cliff area. They organize clean-up initiatives, promote environmental awareness, and create opportunities for community engagement.

Cape Verdean Association of Boston

Celebrates and preserves Cape Verdean culture while providing a wide range of programs and services to the community. They offer educational, cultural, and social opportunities.

Friends of Ronan Park

Community organization dedicated to the preservation, enhancement, and promotion of Ronan Park. They organize events, maintain the park, and advocate for its continued improvement for the benefit of all residents.

Greater Bowdoin Geneva Neighborhood Association 

A community organization dedicated to promoting neighborhood improvements and advocating for residents.

Dorchester Food CO-OP

Community-owned grocery store that prioritizes fresh, local, and sustainably sourced food. They aim to improve food access and promote healthy eating options for residents of the neighborhood.

Meeting House Hill Civic Association

Represents the interests and concerns of residents in the Meeting House Hill area. They collaborate with local stakeholders, promote community engagement, and work towards the betterment of the neighborhood.

St. Peter's Catholic Church

A Roman Catholic Parish of the Archdiocese of Boston (Massachusetts). They are an urban, multi-ethnic, socially, culturally, and educationally diverse faith community. Services in both English and Portuguese.
